Collector’s Note Geneva was one of the principal centres of Swiss watchmaking during the nineteenth and early twentieth centuries, with many workshops and retailers signing movements and dials under their own names. Signed examples retaining both the original movement and dial are often of particular interest to collectors and researchers investigating early Swiss horology and Geneva watchmaking history.
