Original WWW Eterna British Military “Dirty Dozen” watch movement. Please note this is an incomplete restoration project. Some movement parts are broken and others are missing. This is a genuine military movement removed from an original WWW (Watch, Wristlet, Waterproof) Eterna military watch. The movement retains its original matching British military serial number, confirming its military issue origin. The balance is not broken, however several parts require replacement before the movement can be restored. Please study all photographs carefully as they form an important part of the description. The Eterna WWW was one of the famous “Dirty Dozen” military wristwatches commissioned by the British Ministry of Defence during the Second World War. Produced to a strict military specification, these watches are highly regarded by collectors of military timepieces. Original WWW Eterna movements with their military serial numbers are increasingly difficult to source and remain valuable restoration pieces for genuine military watches.
